Practice storage belongs to your browser

When browser storage is available, Dcode can save a practice board on the device you are using. Returning to that browser can restore the same stack in a paused state.

That is different from an online account record. Changing browsers, clearing site data, using private browsing or moving to another phone can remove or isolate the local save. A downloaded preview also keeps its practice information separate from verified online rankings.

Keep useful expectations

Pause before leaving a session and use Restart when a saved board returns. Do not treat local storage as a permanent backup. If a game matters to you, finish it in the same browser rather than relying on an indefinite save.

Local practice leaderboards record actual completions on that device. Shared verified rankings require the connected server application, an eligible profile and an unassisted ranked challenge. Knowing which record you are viewing avoids confusing a personal best with a global result. Read about verified times.
